Safety and comfort checks come first. A product size candidate appears only when all three measurements fit a complete verified range for the same SKU.

Method & limits

Three measurements plus a real movement check

Measure while your dog is standing. A practical harness check includes snug two-finger clearance, no chafing under the front legs, minimal shifting, and a calm indoor check that the dog cannot back out. Inspect webbing, stitching, buckles, and leash points before use.

No harness is escape-proof. Stop using it if there is damage, pain, rubbing, coughing, gagging, or restricted movement. This checker is for walking harnesses, not vehicle restraints or medical/mobility equipment.

Frequently asked questions

Can this checker confirm fit from a photo?

No. It does not analyze photos. You enter measurements and complete hands-on checks while your dog is standing and moving normally.

Why does it not recommend a size for every Mydoggg harness?

Size letters are not universal. The checker only matches a product when all required numerical ranges are stored and verifiable for that exact SKU.

What happens if two sizes match?

The result shows the overlap and asks you to compare all measurements and the product’s adjustment range. It does not automatically choose larger or smaller.
